GAPP is a Georgia Medicaid program providing in-home skilled nursing and personal care support to medically fragile children under the age of 20 years and 11 months, based on a medical necessity determination.
The program exists to help families with a child's everyday living needs: feeding assistance, bathing, incontinence care, transfer assistance, grooming, dressing, G-tube care and medication administration. Care is delivered by licensed professionals, and all services are subject to prior approval.
There is no cost to families who qualify. GAPP hours are billed directly to Georgia Medicaid.

The In-Home Skilled Nursing Program is designed to serve eligible members based on a medical necessity determination for children under the age of 20 years 11 months.
Skilled Nursing (RN & LPN), Personal Care (PCA/CNA), Family Caregiver Training, Care Coordination and Transition of Care, Behavioral Support Aide (BSA) services, Comprehensive Assessments and Care Planning, and Medicaid/GAPP program navigation.
Free in-home care for children and young adults under 21. If your child is under 21, needs help with everyday living activities, and has Medicaid, your child may qualify for free in-home care services. GAPP hours are billed directly to Georgia Medicaid — there is no invoice to the family.
Services are primarily reimbursed through Georgia Medicaid's GAPP program. Care plans are built from physician orders, medical necessity and approved hours. Pricing for private arrangements is available after an assessment and insurance eligibility verification.

Yes — through the Parent Caregiver Program. If your child already has approved GAPP hours, we can train and certify you, bring you on as staff, and pay you for the care you are already providing.
