Questions we hear every week

What is GAPP?

The Georgia Pediatric Program was created to aid parents with their child's everyday living needs — feeding assistance, bathing, incontinence care, transfer assistance, grooming, getting dressed, G-tube care, medication administration and more. This care is provided by one of our licensed professionals.

The In-Home Skilled Nursing Program is designed to serve eligible members based on a medical necessity determination for children under the age of 20 years 11 months.

Which services do you provide?

Skilled Nursing (RN & LPN), Personal Care (PCA/CNA), Family Caregiver Training, Care Coordination and Transition of Care, Behavioral Support Aide (BSA) services, Comprehensive Assessments and Care Planning, and Medicaid/GAPP program navigation.

Does it cost anything?

Free in-home care for children and young adults under 21. If your child is under 21, needs help with everyday living activities, and has Medicaid, your child may qualify for free in-home care services. GAPP hours are billed directly to Georgia Medicaid — there is no invoice to the family.
