Rates are never charged to families for Medicaid-covered GAPP hours. Private home care is quoted in writing after a free nurse assessment.
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) In-Home Skilled Nursing Program serves eligible members based on a medical necessity determination for children under the age of 20 years and 11 months.
The program was created to help parents with their child's everyday living needs: feeding assistance, bathing, incontinence care, transfer assistance, grooming, dressing, G-tube care and medication administration. Care is provided by one of our licensed professionals.
Free in-home care for children and young adults under 21. Is your child under 21? If so, your child may qualify for free in-home care services.
